Perhaps a stupid question...

I have a Samsung Syncmaster 913v monitor. My graphics card at the moment is a GeForce 7800 GT. I am planning to pick up a 8800 GT soon.

At the moment I have a converter that changes the VGA cable into a DVI so it fits in the back of the graphics card. I was just wondering if there was any different cable I should be using that would improve the picture quality?

Hope that makes sense, thanks.

There shouldn't be any difference in picture quality as the DVI - VGA adapter means the DVI outputs an analogue signal that the VGA cable can use. Your monitor only has VGA and RGB afaik so can't use a different cable.

Oh I see, thanks for clearing that up for me mate.
