** Peripheral Showcase **

Keyboard was £82 (top spec version, anodised) - the included key caps (Black on White) & Rouge Axis switches are perfectly fine, but I wanted side-print and a slightly heavier linear switch.

I bought Dad the Aula F75 for Xmas, which came with Leobog Reapers and I thought they felt really nice to type with, so I grabbed a set (£18 for 100).

Also bought two more gradient, side-print keycap sets (Cyan & Pink), for roughly £13 and a set of Leobog Gray Wood v4 for £12.

I definitely could have spent more, but I'd prefer to hold out until I know exactly what I want. Currently eyeing the Wuque Morandi & Jade switches...

Switches are like the biggest unknown. Reading and watching video doesn't really tell the whole picture. Even those sound tests, they sound nothing like their description sometimes. "Thocky" in the title, but when I watch it, I can hear the scratches at each key press and I can hear the hollowness of the Backspace, enter key etc. It was very clacky than thock. Also, it has taken me 2 years to realise that I don't like thocky, I prefer the sound of it more like marble...that's the best way I can describe it. I think the community call it "creamy" ???? It makes no fricking sense.

And I found that sound by accident when I was in a store in HK randomly just hit some keys on a keyboard on display.

I have like 4 spare sets of switches from my experimentation, which I think is on the LOW end from what I gather. I could easily have bought and tried at least 6 more if I go by my online basket.

My nephew ordered himself the new Orbital Pathfinder Founder Edition gaming mouse but randomly sent it right to me to check out which I thought was kinda cool. It's a modular mouse with loads of customisation options, but it comes t a hefty cost and I find my Feinmann F01 a nicer more comfortable mouse to game with. That and the F01 is Magnesium so has the nicer feel to it as well. Sensor performance between any gaming mouse these days is virtually the same so no need to write anything about performance.

Those along the top are side grips of various styles depending on grip style, the lower row are humps of different sizes to suit preference. You also get different size side buttons too.

I'm not one for fancy mice really (I find that a £30 name brand mouse is more than good enough for me, I'm using a Steelseries Aerox 3 currently, and the mouse I take with my laptop is a Deathadder Essential) but that is a really cool and really nicely presented mouse!
