hey everybody at overclockers,
just wondering is it possible to get;
-Mouse
-Keyboard
-Monitor
for £150?
if so could somebody help me out, like best rev's or best products for reliabilty...
personal im a Logtitech fan when it comes to mouses, coming from 3x Logitech G7's that have all broke on me now. i had mx518 in mind, but am not sure on what to go with. keyboard dosen't have to be fancy just get's the job done. 'n please no FLATkeys?
Thanks, CrixxzeH

To be honest, I would spend more on the monitor and a lot less on the keyboard. If I was you, I would honestly get a monitor for £125ish, mouse for £20 and a £5 OcUK keyboard. I dont know the spec of your system, but I would choose to have a decent monitor over a decent keyboard. I personally have the MX518 mouse and for price/performance its great.

+1 for the MX518, nice mouse and its well priced.

As for the monitor, I would strongly recommend you try and fit in a 22in 1920x1080 monitor in your budget. A nice one like this costs £115. If you spend any less then you end up getting a much smaller, lower resolution monitor that won't look nearly as good.

With the remaining money I would get a basic Microsoft or Logitech keyboard. These usually cost ~£8 and have the big, standard keys and get the job done just fine.

might be worth dropping logitech CS an email regarding your broken G7's, they are reported to have a legendary returns/replacement service. you may end up getting a mouse foc. or possibly a 50% discount voucher to use on their website. this might help your budget a bit?

@ Thekwango, bought off ebay mutliple buyers, and snapped the usb thing at docking station twice and then 3rd time sister 'jolted' the lazer with a pen. can hardly see logitech taking them back.
thanks for the reply guys, going to go with;
-Logitech MX518 Gaming-Grade Optical Mouse = £21.98 inc VAT
-BenQ G2222HDL 21.5" Widescreen LED Monitor = £114.98 inc VAT
this leaves me with £13, and most likely try to pick up a logitech standard.
agian, thanks for the reply's guys. MUTCH APRECIATED

Seriosuly, try out logitech with the G7.

I bought a set of Logitech Z-5500 speakers from someone on the OCUK members market (second hand). After about a year of use the main control pod wouldn't power up. I called up logiecth, explained to them that I was not the original owner, as well as what was wrong with them. They proceeded to send out a brand new set of Z-5500s to me, which is what I am using now.

Many others have similar stories about logitech CS, I strongly suggest you give them a go. This kind of service has meant that logitech is always at the top of my list when I need to buy new peripherals.
