Surprised guns is allowed on here. If the police say for them to be taken down I would be carful what’s posted.

Licence or no licence, probably not something I would want people to know.

this isn't a forum I want to get banned from due to the free postage and the members market...

but isn't this the forum where if you talk about a certain Welsh town it's an auto ban.. if so I have no idea why (and I could be getting confused with another forum)

I got sigs turned off. I’m not a mod just a peasant. Police don’t like guns in public domain even with a licence.

It’s normally a username ban. It’s why you can sign back up again but likely to get caught and a reban will happen.

You can get plugins that detect automatically if the plug-in suspects the account been used by the same person and then flags it up to the admins and mods.

Reddit seems to have an automated system that auto bans new accounts if the connection used to create a new account is the same as a previous banned one

Yep, XenForo can do that as well. It’s rather feature rich.

All the entertaining characters seem to be banned nowadays, it's why I mostly lurk.

Poo stories, tall tales, Walter Mitty stories, stand and banging and the like are now in short supply. Sad really - the finger-pointing and whataboutery is still here in abundance.

I tried that. Nobody wanted to join in. There was also an OCUK discord but that got taken over by the real deal.

I hosted a public client where all you needed was a nick without registering as well. The IRC users moved over tho their own discord server and I then disbanded the IRC.
