Long story short, I had an Asus PG348Q which had zero BLB. I was astounded, but unfortunately it developed a fault and had to be returned. My replacement has good BLB but there is a little at the top left corner that is annoying me.

I'm not interested in the credit card fix or stuffing bits of paper into my monitor, I'm going to open mine up.

This is where I need help, is it easy enough to open up and get to the panel on the PG348Q ?

My fix is that I am going to use is electrical tape. I will use duck brand heavy duty tape and seal the panel all the way round, hopefully in turn stopping the light from escaping and forming a good seal.

Thoughts ?

I can't imagine it's that hard to open up the monitor. Not sure I would though, especially if it's still under warranty.

Have you tried gently rubbing the corner where the bleed is? Rub very gently towards the corner.

Do you have the replacement long? Sometimes they need a few months settling in. I have an Asus IPS monitor and it had backlight bleed when I first got, was going to return it, but decided to live with. After about 4/5 months the back light bleed was completely gone.

If its still under warranty then i wouldn't bother. As you will need to disturb the warranty tape inside to get at the panel. If not then you can take it apart yes.

Its not hard to take apart no. You have to take off the stand remove the 4 screws on the back and then split the bezel as its basically clipped together. Just be careful and use plastic tools as you can damage the plastic easily.
