Permissions?!?!

Hello all,

When I bought the Mac I put 3 hard drives from my old rig into this one. Now on one of the drives, I can see it in Windows and Mac OSX now I only have read only permissions to this drive for some reason

Can I change it without losing the data so I copy items to it and them copy them back to the Windows drive when in Windows?

Or can I change the permissions of the windows drive to add data to it to then use when in Windows?

It sounds like your drive is formatted in NTFS, which OS X cannot right to, can only read.

Only way you could sort it would be to re-format it into to FAT32, presuming that's the problem.

Correct, it is formatted in NTFS.
