My dad keeps track of accounts in Money 2002 at the moment, it does everything he needs and more. He'll be getting a Mini when Leopard comes out, so at the moment, I'm trying to work out alternatives for all the software he uses at the moment.

I've tried to find an alternative, but failed...

Does anyone use/have experience of one worth getting? I've got means of testing at the moment if someone can suggest :)

There are two main ones.

iBank (I know for definate version three will be coming out not long after leopard. They came runners up in the WWDC design awards for it!)

Moneywell

Aha, they both look like they fit the bill, why are they not mentioned by anyone else looking to switch from Money? :)

I presume they can both handle £, unlike Quicken?

Another vote for iBank, great app.

There are lots of really good personal and business finance apps for Mac, Cha-Ching, Buddi etc.:

...and yes, they will all support £s.

All my searching didn't bring up any sites like that. Maybe I was being too specific... Thanks for the help :)

I'm sure there'll be something else I'll need help with in the future, I'm getting a Macbook myself :p

There is also Personal Accountz and Business Accountz.

Also, MYOB caan work on a MAC or PC.

Or run Money under Parallels or VM Fusion (or Bootcamp) - I have some accounting and tax software that is purely PC based.
