Basically, how can I acquire "official" ID?? Everything I have in my wallet is apparently useless :confused:

Apart from carrying around my passport.

What are you using it for? Shops with booze and so on, Passport, Driving License or anything with the PASS hologram on it.

Is there alternative to paying £50?? I am not going to learn driving for some time, and I am not sure whether I am going to be living in UK much longer... Therefore paying 50 quid just for ID is too much.

Validate UK is £15 if you can wait 10 days.

Not really. I work in a shop and get them all the time, doesn't matter to any till staff. Just tell your mates you're skint.

That because provisional isn't recognised as an EU licence which is why it doesn't have the flag on it
