Personal Mass Effect question

Being out of the gaming loop for a while i have left both mass effect games an exp's pass me by, but recently wanted to try a new game so downloaded the mass effect 2 demo and really enjoyed it.

Now my question is: do i go back and play through them all or just start with the new one?
I only play for <10hrs a week at most so am guessing would take me ages.
Do i need too for the story or maybe just buy the second or third one?

Buy the first two and play through them first. They are both fantastic games and can be had for a few quid. Once you've finished them ME3 will be down in price anyway. Besides, you can use your same character through all three making it effectively one giant game

its all up to u mate,

myslef and other die hard mass effect players will be using thair me2 save files.
as for the story itself, it probibly would be a great idea to play 1 and 2 first before the realease. thats what im doing at the moment.

Oh rite didnt know you could do that with the saves, and yeh they are cheap now.

Ha Ha looks like i got a few months of mass effect ahead, should be enough time to save up for a new system for other games after lol.

Yeah I plan to replay 1+2 when 3 comes out. I will do my normal trick and pre-order a disc version, then I will play it 3 months later when it is worth £10 in a sale. Go me

Ha Ha yeh thats the spirit, normaly i pay full price and then never play them, or for 2 mins.

Hopefully this will get me hooked tho cos my plan is to stop going out so much lol.

Don't rush them because you know you have 2+3 to play next. Take your time, I envy you as these are your first playthroughs, fantastic games. Enjoy them sir

ME1 has free DLC as well to download. Bring down the sky or something.

You can download it easy but getting a cdkey is a nightmare:

Yeh looking forward to it, bit of a commitment in time tho lol. downloading the first one on steam now, give it a whirl tomorrow.
