So I was going through my inbox and apparently I have this email from a bloke with a euro.apple.com address.

He said he was going through their records and found a saved cart I recently added to my account. Then he said he'd wouldn't mind me giving a call (he even gave me his extension) and taking care of my order and any other assistance I need.

Anyone else have this before? I never knew Apple were this personal... I mean the saved cart ain't that big!

May be a scam? Post the full headers to the e-mail and the detectives here may be able to find some details

Nah, it's genuine usually. If you went through to make an order, and didn't compete it, then they sometimes contact you to find out why you didn't purchase.

Don't take my word for it, but people have mentioned it before. Usually get offered discounts etc too.

I have heard of this before, it is possible to score additonal sweeteners, such as laptop sleeves.
