Just a few photo's from my trip to Australia. I would love any advice you all can give on any aspect of them as i'm not overly happy with the overall look, although i do quite like the post processing which is from just a random photoshop action i found.

Thanks

James

It looks like out of date film shot from the 70's.

Also, I don't get the whole Australia feel at all, nevermind Perth. Apart from the Kangaroo, it doesn't say. Australia to me. That's the thing when it comes to travel photos for me, the photos should reflect the place, look wider and show more scenary. What makes the place that place and drop little hints to the viewer through that.

OK should have said most of those are from Perth Zoo so getting a wider wouldn't have helped. Here a few more which include wider shots.

Also as i said the PS action is just one i've found online, I have no idea when it comes to processing what to do so, i'm sure most of the photographers on here wont like the processing. What would you do with them?

The processing of some looks very 'instagram' in a few shots. It looks ok on some of the shots, (if that style is your thing) but not on others.

For example, the landscape you posted above is very very blue. The sky dominates the image with the sea underneath. It's not a bad shot, but the trees seem to be missing something because of such sat/vibrancy in the sky sea. Personally I'd be bringing them down slightly.
