Hi all i just recently got back from an amazing trip in peru! i spent 3 weeks in total traveling to 3 main areas, Lima, Cusco and Manu(Amazon rainforest)
all 3 places offered vast different types of scenery and climate.
The gear i used for the trip:
I went with 2 camera setups as i wasnt sure how the a7r2 would hold up in the rainforest(it did fine) and i brought the 70-200 for reach in the rainforest but it actually proved to be VERY useful for my landscape shots and the Init Ramyi carnival i attended(pics below).
It was at times a pain to lug all that around especially above 3500m sea level but the pain and suffering and moaning from my missus was well worth it in the end.
It is such a photographers wet dream that country. You turn a corner and there is a photo opportunity everywhere you go!
Here are a few shots taken .
I will post more as i am still editing them
The below shots where taken from Sacret Valley, Cusco and Macchu pitchu
A few from Peru taken with my 5d3.
