PES '09

PES 08 wasn't as bad as people made it out but they should have done a lot better especially online gaming which is still a complete and utter joke. This time round will be having a proper go on both this and the FIFA demo before deciding, I've always loved Pro evo over FIFA but this time I might be converted!

All you guys saying "roll on Fifa 09" - presumably you're talking about the console versions rather than the PC version? The PC version is still using the rubbish old PS2 engine albeit with better player models

I thought they had changed it for 2009? I heard as well it has even more features on the PC than the console ones do.

I thought the PC version of Fifa was the same engine but the player models were less detailed. I would love to know why the PC version isn't superior graphically let alone behind the console versions. There must be some factor that I haven't considered.

Extremely disappointed with how this game is shaping up this year. Lack of Master league development for the 5th year in a row I do believe. The one decent mode they have included is the Be A Legend mode. Its been in Winning Eleven for years but they decided to take it and use it in PES.

There doesn't seem to be enough radical change from last years dodgy effort to warrant spending money on it really. I was hoping for new animations, gameplay changes as well as a revamped master league mode and lots of mini improvements on overall game. The Japanese market must still eat this game up because I know the figures from last years game in europe were very good. I will still try the demo out before deciding whether to buy it or not but right now I am not impressed.
