PES 15 hybrid PC hype ROFL.

Is it going to be any better overall than the last umpteen versions or the same bum fluff.

The PC demo is out on the 13th November on steam, and you can purchase steam cd keys from various sites for about £22 at the moment.

PC Preview Code Highlights :

PES15 is getting rave reports and reviews to be fair, still unsure whether I will get it since the PC version is essentially not going to use the improved and updated engine, although its most graphical, but looking at the features of some modes, namely BAL, it is lacking, and since I rarely play any other modes I doubt I will get much out of it, online is still going to be poor compared to FIFA.

Oh Jambo I tried FIFA 15 out, its still the same old FIFA, feels exactly the same as 12 and 13! so glad Origin have that 24hour refund thing, got my money back, PES should do the same!

The PS4 version is brilliant much improved over the last 5 years. I actually switched back from Fifa to PES this year, a big fan of the slow build up.

This is why I am more optimistic with this years version. A lot of former PES fans who jumped to Fifa are jumping back to this version.

But with videos i've seen the collision detection still seems even worse than Fifa at times though.

Are you sure it's not the PS4/XBOX1 engine the PC is getting, Pass8.

I've not been keeping upto date with this, but didn't some dev say a month or two ago the PC version is the same gameplay as the PS4/XBOX1 but with some graphical effects missing.

I'm currently on my 5th 'try' with Fifa 15, Pass8, still cant get into it.The Origin game guarantee refund is excellent. :D:D:D

Yeh its a hybrid bits of old and updated engine, but mainly graphical as you say, so gameplay should be the same but I am a bit skeptical, as you know these companies like to lie or claim x,y,z. So I will believe it when I see it, roll on the 13th!

I got bored after 2 games on Fifa, every match feels the same and its so repetitive, reminded me why I gave up on it!

Well...

Mixed emotions here.

Gameplay is AWESOME.

Really does feel like a proper football simulation, best incarnation for many a year. Kudos to Seabass and his team for this, it was not just marketing when they said they went "classic".

Graphically though, it is as though we got the Xbox 360 720p "Ultra" edition.

Visuals are laughable and is far from the "Next gen version minus dynamic lighting".

Either a bug or Konami screwed us.

Am sure modders will lead the way on this one.

Saying all that, the core gameplay (which is the reason why we are here) is superb in my opinion.

In the current state, Konami do not deserve their full RRP for this one, £20 however is acceptable and will give hours of fun.

Hmmm, sounds promising Gimpymoo. I'm not really fussy about graphics just as long as the core mechanics are good.

Wouldn't be surprised if there is no demo today. PC sales are just a fraction compared to the consoles just like Fifa. But in this day and age it is always laughable when we get a dumbed down version.

I'll wait for the demo 'cough' other sources to try it first if they are taking the pee with the demo'cough' I think.

Just had a quick look at gameplay footage (from ps4) and looks like classic PES but the graphics? Now I know it doesn't affect the gameplay but they are terrible! The kits look like they've been made in paint

You can currently get a global steam key for about £13.40 at the moment.

Post the link in pic deals section please. Unless price has changed as I can't find it at that price.

Picked it up for around £17 elsewhere. It was a global steam key that was day 1 edition.

First game I went straight online. As I have not played pro evo for some years now I was like what is this. It was horrid. Luckily that turned out to all be down to lag as playing offline was a lot of fun.

That said the graphics are rubbish. lol. I hope this game will support 4k resoltion, as I want to pick up a 4k monitor in the next few months. That may help make it look better at least :p

Main thing is gameplay though which was fun, so I am happy with my purchase overall.
