PES 2008 - anyone play online?

You need to register your game online first and set a password there. Look in your Konami folder and it should have a User Registration shortcut there for you.
Online play is terrible though, only had a few games and didn't bother again. Even Pro Evo 6 was better online, this where the Pro Evo games have really been a let down. After a while playing the computer is boring and you can't play your mates everyday and playing against real people is much better than playing the computer but with the kind of lag you get it is just ridiculously poor.
sometimes its ok-ish, other times its simply truly appauling, even with local people etc.
You can be tackling at the half way line then it skips to your goal and its in because the clients have had a sync-error or whatever and ones ran off with it and had a free run at goal.
Most people playing are incredibly dull too, dribble down wing, pump it to cornerflag and cut back & its a goal, basically putting fastest players on pitch and playing with a DEEP DEEP defensive line to try and counter cutbacks.
