PES 2008 does not see my graphics card, help

screen shot below.

if I just press ignore it plays but runs at lowest resolution and lowest graphics settings, albeit very smoothly.

is this a common problem? is there a patch for it?

I've read this:

"i thought there was trouble with vista and 4gb of ram,it wouldnt let you choose high settings,well i couldnt you had to use a kitserver patch but that stopped working when they brought the patch out"

is this true?

if so will it work if i remove one stick of my ram?

I play on a 22" Cibox, which is 1680x1050.

I've noticed the game could do with some AA, and I'm getting tearing, is there a way of enabling V-Sync?

it looks like its only running at 1400x900 just stretched, is there a way in the NVCP to force a higher res?

yeah i installed it then clicked on the normal settings file.

I should have read what you wrote more carefully lol.
