As everyone with the game knows there are a few flaws with it lol. Such as stuttering when not in HD and even when HD replays stutter. I have looked around in loads of forums and can't find a answer why this is? To my understanding there is no fix, although a lot of people suggest getting fifa as a fix, unfortunately i hate fifa... i just don't think the game play is anywhere near as good (sorry to the fifa fans out there). But will it be fixed in a patch? If so has there been any announcement of when?

Also can anyone possibly explain what went wrong and why it does this?

Havent they recently released a patch? Mine needed updating just a few weeks back i swear! Not sure if they have fixed the SD issue though. & I know what you mean about gameplay on Fifa, even though PES08 was shoddly made the gameplay still makes it better than Fifa imho.

Just gonna have to hold out for updates for things to get sorted really.
 
Have you tried Fifa 08? Totally different from other ones.
As it stands, PES is a shoddy mess and it's a long time from being fixed for 2008. It's a wait til 2009 I think.

I have played fifa, didnt like it... There has been an update but it didnt fix anything. Does playing it on a 42" screen make the problems worse? its either that or a 17" monither dvi->hdmi converter lol.
 
Play it regularly on my mates 42" toshiba and have only noticed frame rate issues in replays. Actual gameplay seems fine just the crowd that makes me lol!:p
