Some screenshots which look promising.

Looks like they have put some thought into the controls.

Could be an interesting game of football.

I clicked expecting horribly gimmicky PUT IT ON YUOR FOOT LOL controls, but that idea looks much, much better. It could be fantastic with those, in fact.

There was a thread about the Wii version the other week when the news broke that it'd be released. I can't wait to get my grubby mits on it, although I'll be enjoying the PS3 version tomorrow when my bro brings his PS3 round.

Is it turn based then, or do you pause or something? Otherwise I can see this being pretty hard (although precise) if it's in realtime, ahving to point everywhere.

This could convince me to get a wii though.

I really don't think it'll be that hard. Sure, it'll take some getting used to, but it's no different to an FPS really.

yes i seen this and thinking off getting it for wii to play with son. also doing leagues on xleague.com for prizes and stuff.
