Seeing as the other thread is now full of peoples opinions on the demos I thought it was better if there was one for the actual full version of the game.

Just finished my first season on Legend mode and am loving it so far, easily one of the best football games I've played.

Online mode is also great, had a few games with Wiggis and after some schoolboy tactics of running around after the ball its pretty amazing once you get used to it. (Apart from when he takes you off of penalties just as your running up to take one :( Although he then skied it over anyway :p)

Whats everyones opinions on the FULL RELEASE so far?

Oh, and lets try to have no PES V Fifa crap in here ;)
 
My opinion on the full release is that it's terrible. The game feels like it was made 10years ago - the way the ball bounces off the player the same distance each time when you are dribbling and a thud sound every second doesn't do it for me. And the way turns up down left right up-right etc perfectly on the axis makes the game for me feel very artifical and not very fun.
 
Played about 5 games since I got it (PS3) and in all honesty feels awkward. Just doesnt seem fluid for me, passing is horrible and looks unnatural but I will give it a little longer till I decide what to do.

Havent tried online yet so I cant comment, but for me I bought both games and right now FIFA is still the better more complete game.
 
Loving legends mode at the moment, been rejected back to the bench though :D. I recommend everyone try legend mode online with three of your mates, good fun.
 
I'm still struggling to get my defence set up properly. The line seems to be too far forward and i cant work out how to change it. Any ideas? Defenders also seem to get caught by threw balls all the time.

Commentary is shockingly bad, no wonder they left it out of the demo.

Passing is a little fiddly, when i try to knock the ball around like a pro team always one pass doesnt go where i want it to. Hope this is my inexpierence but it really **** me off when it happens.

In attack its fluid and pretty amazing. You shoot and the ball generally goes where you want it to.

The game just doesnt feel 100% but that could be me getting used to it. I hope it works out right but if it doesnt then no great lose as it only cost me £32 and i can get a good trade in price for it.
 
the back line is set somewhere in the team selection menu, maybe team strategy you can set them to be deep which still seems a bit high at times but stops the over the top ball working most of the time. I am enjoying playing the game, its a great laugh with mates as its really all about attacking so its always exciting and never really bogged down.

Agree about the commentary, I turned it off after about 3 games it was that bad.
 
Yeah the legend mode can take a lot of getting used to, especially the passing with the camera angle.

Since finding out how to dive on this I've been booked four times for it :D
 
just played my first game, loved it!

i gave fifa09 a chance via rental until pes came out and im so pleased i did, if u change the game camera angle to WIDE its an utter pleasure picking out that through ball or manual pass to split the defence wide open, any it works online this year!

defo a move forward and the Champions League section is a great addition

I was running the midfield like Roy Keane whilst you just stayed up front asking for people to pass :D
