PES 2010 Stuttering?

Hi there.

I'm getting stuttering on PES 2010, However FRAPS reports a steady 60fps. It's as though the animations are stuttering. If you look at the "1" above the player's head it stutters a lot. I've even tried the game at the lowest settings and lower resolutions but it still does it so it's certainly not my hardware struggling to cope as i get a constant 60fps at 1920x1200 and the game still stutters at 1024x768.

I'm on Win7 64bit ultimate, PC in sig and all latest drivers. Any ideas?

Have you tried turning on/off frame skipping using the PES10 settings file?

Seems to run ok for me, but have been several reports of similar issues on evo-web forums.

Actually i stand corrected, turning off frame skipping completely fixes this issue! Thanks so much. Thing is though it fixes the stutter but limits all the cut scenes to 30 fps. Not too bothered though as the action now runs super smooth at 60 fps (v-sync on).
