PES 2010 (Wii)

What a surprise good game this is, borders on being PS1/PS2 'esque in its PES'ness

Easily the best football game ive played since those days, that includes FIFA 10/PES 2010 on the PS3.

It has that fluid, organic feel to it that the latest games lack, as they rely on wild animation mo-caps to produce what the armchair fans want

I really enjoy PES on the Wii. It gives a fantastic feel of control both in attack and defence and some of the goals I've scored have been phenomenal. I find myself wishing I could control FIFA10 in the same way!

It does look like a turd in comparison though

Yeah graphically its horrible, but at the same time it has that PES look (if you arc back to the golden era)

Need to either learn the gimmicky controls, or get a proper pad as using that rectangle is painful.

I use the Wii remote to play - the control scheme I really like and don't find gimmicky at all. It's just a very difficult game to chuck the controls to a mate and say 'let's play'. So many little nuances it's difficult to just jump into.
