Is it possible to get a patch or update so the teams have the proper names.eg. North London changes to Arsenal

There are patches or you can also consider a heavily edited Option File.

Completely illegal as they contain copyrighted logos etc but who gives a ****, free advertising.

I'm not sure it can be classed as illegal unless they profit from it. Look at all the F1 mods available for rfactor etc and FOM are known for coming down hard on use of their property.

Yes you can there is a huge modding community, not only will it do the names but you can also get kits, logo, stadiums, player faces etc
