Hello. Noticed there was no pes thread. No-one interested in this anymore? Admittedly the last one I had was 2015.
I tried the new demo and have to say I was impressed. They've got quite a few licenses and some of the likenesses are spot on.
Only had a quick go, but the gameplay felt smooth and realistic.
 
Theres a thread for the console PES2020... Ive had a couple of games on the PC demo and I must say I was well impressed, I'm normally a fifa guy as I like playing career mode starting in lower leagues (currently at Lincoln City) and PES doesn't offer that, However I'm tempted by PES this year
 
Had the last few PES' now and i liked them but from the demo i feel they've really raised their game. Plays brilliant and the pace is spot on. a few new game modes too apparently. They've also just announced seria A fully licensed and as jimmy says the likeness of players is awesome.

Pre ordered about a week ago on steam, roll on the 10th september
 
Give it a go Kungfu, I fell out with pes around then too, unplayable online ect. Fifa has never been my cup of tea although ive had a few while I had lost faith in pes. It really feels the good times are back.

This was the reason I decided to get the 2019 version.

It's gorgeous both stadiums.

 
Glad people are returning to PES.

During my late 20s /early 30s it was a staple Friday night game, 5 or 6 of us and a load of beer playing doubles or singles mini tournaments.

"Friday night, Sam's house, bring your boots." was basically the message to say we're playing Pro Evo and you'll need a controller.

It kinda lost its way after that as the online side never had the same appeal it was so flaky.

Ha! Yes that is also a very good reason for me to look at purchasing. A fully licensed old firm game is something I've not seen for a while. Had fifa 16 or 17, and they make no effort on any unlicensed teams.
Loving the demo. Scored a goal with barca that was a thing of beauty. Probably had it on easy mode though :)
 
No sign of an early download for this? Due out tomorrow.
Any recommend sites for real team names etc? Just read that the edit files were included in the demo, so might have files available straight away
