I'd be interested in this.

Could make pretty much any evening after 5pm.

Anyone that gets me in the first round is pretty much getting a bye, though. :p

I have set it up, I will send the pass via xbl so we dont get randoms joining up and not bothering to play.

Club Teams ( Any team, you can be the same team if that floats your boat, looks at Inter :p )

Winner goes through to next round

ET and PENS MUST BE ON to decide the winner.

10 Minute match.

Are you one of the people that never noticed the rubber banding or one that flat out denies it exists in the first place?
By rubber bandiing I assume you mean the abilty of the players on the trailing team gain a stats increase, shots more likely to go in, keepers seem better, players seem faster etc.

Can't say I've ever noticed that in Pro Evo.

The only thing that would come close to it is in most versions if you get a penalty against the computer when you're already 4 or 5 up, the chance of not scoring from it seems to be higher.

Ah well allow me to explain, as many of you will know games like need for speed and GT5 have catch up options or 'rubber banding' where by the cars behind are sped up so that they can compete in a race with the front runners.

Pro evo uses a similar system to try and keep the games tight and competitive, this was particularly noticeable in pro evo 4 and 5 and totally ruins a game that I loved to play for many many hours. Infact the devs at EA once promised that this kind of scripting would not be used in the Fifa release of that year as they knew some players were tired of it. There are quite a few things that annoy me about it and so I skipped out evo 6 this time around, Fifa 07 also has some of this now and it is more crude than evo in its implementation.

Im sure a lot of you don't notice it and that's fine, I think I just spent so much time playing that the mechanics behind the fun became too obvious.

I hope that out of the new versions at least one of the games gets the footie genre back on track.

I'd guess many of the Pro Evo players from here have played as many if not more hours on the game than yourself, so I don't think it's a case of them not playing it enough to notice it.
