well iv finished uni and iv just came home to the parents house with my sparkly new HDMI cable on my bedside table for when I got back, so just wondering if that evo patch torrent ever came out?

I cant find any links to any of it anymore, but id like the game looking sexy for when its on the big tvs.
The install looked quite complex, is there not just a fully patched file or executable I could download? ;(
 
It was because they couldnt update it properly, so the only way an exe would work would be to throw all the new img files into it, which they said would take the setup file to nearly 5gb!!!

Though bandwidth issues arise.
 
thanks guys. The torrent include instructions and the applications cos Iv never used em before.

You lot running any other patches I may want to throw in there too?

Wish someone would make a decent masterleague file, its so bland.. not enough transfers or loans, needed all the english divisions tbh :( annoys me a tad.

I was quite suprised that no1 did infact make a 5gb setup file, I was expecting for someone to release one via torrent, I think it would have been v popular, and delivery becomes less of an issue with torrents.

Yeah I got all the files from rapidshare. Have you heard of ev-web its a brilliant pro evo forum for mods. I found that pro 6 was amazing with mods however 2008 is harder to mod and there's less out there. I would recommend an option file made by a guy called chimps. He edits the game so it plays differently e.g. faster or slower. I'd check those out.
 
The community can only change so much of the game and unfortunately when it comes down to changing master league aspects, not a lot can be done there. If you do get bored of master league, my suggestion is to download an option file which has all the Master league hidden players and Classic National teams already unlocked. Transfer them all into one team and play against your mates. Its a right laugh having George Weah + Peter Schmeical in the same team :p

If you can't find one I could always upload my file but I'm not sure if it will mess up the kit settings and stuff considering I have a patch installed on it. Don't think it will though
 
heh. I was debating whether to do that like, create a team and put aload of classics and players on form in it and sort out some mad attacking tactics :)

its updated transfers, extra teams too aint it?

Is this the patch which also includes better commentary, new team chants(multiple chants per team too?)

Errrr well this wasnt exactly easy to understand at first.

Iv installed it all, got all the transfers and names etc(I THINK)
Where are my stadiums and pitches tho? And why do liverpool have someone elses kit.. with samsung sponsor?
Meh..

Theres cs.img and rs.img folders in the evo patch folder but it doesnt give instructions on howto install the files contained in em

Its such a bloody faff, I guess the dodgey translation in the readme didnt help me.

Does anyone fancy upping a torrent of their 5gb install somewhere for me?
Obviously keeping it private so we dont get no leeches etc ? :)

I actually would, or like jojothemonkey says, maybe whack the patched .img files on a disc or 2 and send them to you. But I just had to reformat and forgot to back them up :mad: And now I cba to even reinstall the game never mind go through patching everything again lol. Sigh.
