Hello all,

I've just saved a master league and closed down PES5 to go on the internet for a bit. I now want to play the game again so I load the game in the usual fashion and after loading the option file I get the popup that an error has occured and if I want to report it to Microsoft with the usual Send / Don't Send options.

What is the problem here and how can I get playing this game again without losing my Master League?? I've tried restarting my PC and it's exactly the same.

Cheers,

I used to have the same problem, loaded a single game fine, but crashed on the master league save. Found out it didn't like having replays saved in the same folder.

So if you've saved any replays try deleting those. If not, I have no idea sorry.

I did save a replay before saving the game.

How do I know which one is a replay? I can't actually get in to the game to check?

I dont have Pro Evo on the PC

But to get to the replays, I am guessing you go...

C Drive > Program Files > Konami > Pro Evolution Soccer 5 > Replys

and they are in there, like I say, I have no experience with Pro Evo on PC (yet)

I've not got it installed at the moment, but it should be either in the Program Files> Games > Saves or in My Documents where it saves games. Can't remember how Pro Evo does it.

What is the error message that comes up exactly.

There are known compatibility problems with some usb devices, try unplugging your joypad if you have one.

My copy is crazy and I get it the same problem with all PRo EVE games, this crashes just after the addidas sign...

To prevent this I constantly tap ESC button and this loads as normal.

And this is an original version of the game. Very strange.

If it wasnt a very good game then I wouldnt bother with it. But this beats any other footy game out there.
