finding it hard to pick pet names for eachother (me and my other half) and i thought that the good members of OcUK should be able to help! fire away!

I simply call the missus "Pookie". Not original, for sure.

And you're not supposed to really "pick" pet names. Something she does, or a feature she has, might remind you of something and the name should kind of come to you from that.

Whats the point in deliberately choosing a pet name. If you want to call your partner fluffybum or twinkletits then do so whenever you want to, not set something in stone because you feel you should, just use her real name!

You cant force these things.. you cant just pick a name and say ok.. its what just comes naturally..

sweetheart, darling, babe, love, lovey, mingface, buttercup, pooch, muffin, cupcake, custard, treacle, tardbag, hardcore tid, tiddles, tiddlywink, tidbag, bob.

Maybe she does something during "special time" that reminds you of her, maybe if she growls or purrs or summat? Tiger, Tigger. But only you can find a pet name for her as its so personal
