Delivery and You talk are excellent songs, What other of his song from any of his bands are worth a play?

Babyshambles - Down In Albion - **** Forever, Killamangiro, Pipe Down, Albion. The rest of the album is a bit hit and miss for me.

Babyshambles Shotters Nation - Carry On Up The Morning, UnBiloTitled, Unstookie Titled, (the two already mentioned). Check the album out if you like what your hear, it's pretty decent.

The Libertines - Up The Bracket (debut album)
essentially their best album, i'd recommend it.

The Libertines - The Libertines - Cant Stand Me Now, Music When The Lights Go Out, What Katie Did, What Became Of The Likely Lads.
An average album not as good as their debut but still a few good tracks, some filler (not the tunes mentioned above) IMO though.

And if you love all that then ask about their unreleased songs and b-sides because there are tons of them floating about.

I think the Best Of The Libertines has just been released. You might be better off just buying the albums though

personally im not that into the libertines however i think babyshambles are superb. the 1st album is for me the better of the 2 albums with some cracking songs as mentioned above, though the second album is growing on me slowly.

Absolutely love the Libertines and Babyshambles. Agree with all the above recommendations as well.

Am also a Doherty fan :) Love his music and his lyrics are some of the best I've heard, if not the best.

Pete Doherty playing secret gig at the Rhythm Factory in Whitechapel on Saturday and with Babyshambles (same place) on Monday for anyone interested.

So I heard...

i think if was about in the 70's or 80's or maybe even early 90's he would be accepted as he is. the fact that he gets so much stick is because society has changed and the media nowadays are right *****.

still a dirty smack head though shame on him.

I dont mind his music, needs to sort himself out tho IMO

He's well on his way imo thankfully.

I saw Babyshambles a couple of years ago in Blackpool at the height of his drug problem and he was a complete mess. You couldn't understand him, he could barely stand up, he came out halfway through after stumbling off stage for a bit with a band round his arm which he'd used for shooting up. Bad bad state.

I saw them again recently at the MEN and it was a fantastic perfromance, clear, full of energy and great sound. :)
