I think the one on the right was taken in the past and the one on the left was taken in the not so distance past. So he could write a book on weight gain i suppose.

He isnt a millionaire, He probably only has ~250kin the bank at the very most.

His got a problem granted. But he is dealing with it. It's hard to come up with creative inspiring music all the time you know.

Surely you are making this opinion based on the media perception?

He is very articulate and polite in interviews, have you read or watched any?

His guitar playing is on par or slightly better than john petrucci, which isnt great but he is good arranging songs and such.

I think his lifestyle is a good advert for his music.

And he doesnt seem big headed to me... He has said in many interviews his not the best singer/songwriter or guitarist he just has some songs he wants to sing so he does.

Why? Petrucci plays notes really fast with no regards to melody or harmony its like a guitar tug fest.

Doherty plays the guitar like his having a tug but his chords actually sound awesome in the order he plays them.
