Are prisoners for life allowed many visitors? Are they allowed out to Wetherspoons or a Street Party for the evening?

Living in Leigh Lancashire at the time, I remember the atmosphere and how no woman could leave the pub and walk home alone or even in pairs they felt at risk. He really did cause some bad **** so I can only say it is 40 years too late.

Without wishing in any way to appear to regret the demise of the thorouhly evil and unlamented Yorkshire Ripper, I wonder how many other high security prisoners have been infected with Covid by "Visitors/prison officers"?

Ironically he caught it in hospital were he'd been taken after suffering heart issues.
