There is an e-petition HERE calling on the Government to drop its Health and Social Care Bill which pretty much everyone involved in the NHS will do and is already doing irreparable damage.

Please consider signing it and forwarding this request and link to as many people as possible.

TVM :)

Going to give us any facts, or just ask as to be a sheep like you and sign it?

Got any more information on swaying me to sign?
You could start at:

There are many other sources but they tend to be dismissed as typical Union opposition so I haven't referenced them but you can always try Google.

I work with many GPs and almost without exception, they oppose this bill. This opposition is not based on resistance to change, it is based on the idea that poor health should not be a source of wealth and that good health should not be a product of wealth.

Nope. The NHS needs reform.
I wouldn't argue with that. Most of the bureaucracy and box ticking that was introduced by New Labour was crazy; this is not being eliminated, just altered. The lies perpetrated about increasing patient choice when exactly the opposite is happening are a product of past and recent reforms.

I don't believe that privatising the NHS is a desirable reform, I don't believe that GPs should be focused on making money.

You of all people should know change for changes sake rarely achieves the goal and the current proposals are merely a vehicle for profiteering. You normally look into things - do so here and you will find the advisory circle has very different interests to what the public would want put forward and no tangible experience in the area they are advising in. Whose interests are being represented here: look there and then you will find the answer for why this change is not in the users interests - well that depends on their investment portfolio I guess :D

Signed !

These reforms are purely for privatising services, the reforms are causing havoc in the service as we speak and they are already being implemented as we go along.

Fair enough. I will investigate further and give an informed opinion. :)

Less than 5 thousand more signatures and they will be forced to discuss it so gogogo

True, I don't think it has been discussed in parliament at all so far, pretty much going in under everyone's radar.

The RCN are scaremongers, many of the figures about numbers being made redundant if this goes through have been inflated out of all reason.
