Just to update, it seems my car is more economical on petrol than it is on LPG!!

Ive done 150 miles, used around 45 litres of LPG, at 41ppl. Using http://www.torquecars.com/tools/uk-mpg-calculator.php, doing 150 miles on 45 litres of gas at 41ppl works out at 15.15MPG! This is around town.

Now on a full tank of petrol (around £43 to fill it up), i can do at least 230 miles to a tank around town, or as much as 350 miles to a tank on a steady run. Assuming £43 is around 45 litres of fuel, that works out at 23.24mpg around town, or 35mpg on a run.

Am i missing something, or is my car more economical on petrol than LPG?!

The chap where I will up at the LPG station seems to think i should easily achieve 250 - 300 miles to a tank of LPG, but at the rate the green lights go down on the dash, this does not appear like its going to be the case!

I do need new injector seals, as the car is ticking over very lumpy on gas, but i cant see that affecting the MPG so much?

Ive spoke to the guy who installed my kit and he said the mixture might need adjusting. He will have a look at it for me.

Im not too keen on literally running out because of potential of backfiring issues and blowing the airbox off!
