People love their pets. And people and their pets are everywhere these days, even in malls. But there are some people who do not like animals. That does not mean they want to hurt animals, they just don't share any love for them.
Pet owners are sometimes obnoxious. They seem to usually assume that since they love their pet, you must too. So they let their pet jump on you, lick you, bark at you, and slobber on you. Now, that can be disgusting. Just because I like oyster juice doesn't mean that I force anyone else to drink it, assuming that they must love it too.

Pets usually stink. And if you pet them, then your hand smells. That is not a good thing. And many dogs are always licking you, and everyone knows where their tongues have been and that's the last thing I want on my skin. And animals make your house dirty. They get hair everywhere. Sometimes they destroy your furniture. How could anyone want that?

And let's not forget the massive responsibility a person has if they have a dog. Every day, for the rest of the dog's life, it has to be taken for walks so it can do its business. And then you have to pick up its business! How gross is that! Of course you always have those inconsiderate pet owners who don't pick up after their dogs. I guess they figure we all like having their dog's feces scattered on the lawn to step in. And it doesn't matter if it's raining or snowing or sleeting or hailing. The dog still has to go outside.

And then there are those ignorant dog owners who let their dogs run free without keeping them on a leash. Imagine going for a walk when all of a sudden in the distance you see a German Shepard running full speed towards you. Surely you are going to die since it got away from the owner and is running toward you to rip you apart. When it gets to you, it might jump on you, growl, bark, or bite. All the while the clueless owner is screaming from afar, "don't worry, he's friendly". In the meanwhile, you've had a near heart attack. Those owners should have their animals taken away.

And lastly, what about dogs that bark nonstop. You sit down to watch TV, but a dog is barking somewhere close by nonstop. You sit on your deck to relax, but a dog is barking. You try to sleep, but a dog is barking. You try to sleep late in the morning, but a dog is barking. The owners don't seem to mind. Maybe they're tranquilized. If only they would tranquilize their pets, the world would be a better place.

Plagiarism is the "wrongful appropriation" and "purloining and publication" of another author's "language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions," and the representation of them as one's own original work

As an example of Plagiarism i have just lifted the above from Wiki

I have a Shih Tzu and i dont let her near anyone who doesn't want to be near her. Not everyone likes dogs and some people are just plain scared of them. She is not allowed near children unless she is on a lead and we are holding her, she has never bitten anyone or showed any signs being agressive but why take the chance.
I can also assure my dog does not smell :) I do know what you mean tho', my brother has a spaniel and that does leave your hands smelling after stroking it.
We always pick up after our dog after she has done what she needs to do, the thing i hate is the people who go to the trouble of picking up after their dogs only to launch the then full bag into the bushes.........

I'm really not picking on your at all, so don't think that but wanted to point out a couple things.

Most humans adjust to smells, if something is around them for minutes, let alone hours, days months or years, they notice it less. Its almost certain your dog does smell, you just don't ever notice it anymore, its become a "normal" smell to you. Most houses smell, people smell different, dog houses are always worse than any other house I go into, cats smell, I know my house smells catty even though I can't detect it and haven't been able to for years, but its a pretty tame smell, certainly compared to dog houses. Cat poop though, wow, any time our cats are stuck inside, our female cat could cause everyone to clear a house into lethal hail type weather to escape a fresh one :p

Mostly dog owners let their dogs do anything, anywhere, and expect you to publically state your disgust of dogs before holding them away from you. In your own home is fine, its your choice and mine if I go to a dog house, but out and about is not on. Thing is you normally can't or don't say much because its a neighbour or family, or boss, someone its simply too awkward to complain to so you keep quite and put up with a horrible dog.

Personally I can't stand dogs, I've been attacked by nasty ones as a kid, and having people leave their dogs off leashes in parks and they come up and get in your business without an easy way to get rid of them, I think poorly of dog owners because very few have any care for anyone else when out and about. They really do as the OP says, assume everyone else is completely happy to have their dog all over them and put very little effort into preventing them doing so. It shoudn't happen, full stop, it shouldn't happen then I complain THEN you attempt to stop your dog.

As stated, as many/more people are the same way about their kids, both in how they move around, the help they expect, the noise they expect everyone else to put up with and how freaking amazing they think their kids are and assume you think they are amazing as well.

Cats... depends, most stay pretty close to if not entirely at home, and few really hound neighbours and most cats chased off a couple times aren't terrible with pooping in gardens either, but I've yet to meet a cat that wants to sniff my nuts or insists on licking my face, but cats too can be a nusaince and have bad owners. Bad pet owners are terrible, cats, dogs, anything, but even good dog owners are generally a menace to all their neighbours and somehow utterly oblivious to it. You've chosen to buy a dog and be woken up by it, no one else you know did.

Cat owners have usually very little impact on those around them, I've never met a dog owner whose dog hasn't effected everyone who lives near them, even if only occassionally or in a small way, its often in a big way. We've had two houses, with one dog each at a time, that when dogs were there were a complete pain in the ass, woken up in the middle of the night by dogs barking, woken early morning, interrupted in the day by dog barking.

I genuinely think dogs should be banned as a pet, I don't mind if people said the same for cats, though I don't know anyone who has severe "cat" issues, while MANY people dislike dogs in terms of being forced to live near dogs by selfish neighbours, the noise it brings, or people genuinely afraid of dogs. There is nothing redeeming about them, crapping all over parks, great.... noisey, bark at either some things, or everything depending on the dog.
