pfft...who said Golfs are slow and boring...

4wd

ive not heard the 900bhp quote before, ive read on the dahlback site that when it was on the rollers they could measure it above 600bhp as it would wheelspin madly once it was above 6000rpm etc.

still doesnt change the fact that golfs are heavy slow n boring (jk... but ive opened a can of worms :D )

I stand corrected on the 4wd part.

I've not looked in to the actual bhp, just read it on streetfire and took it as true.

It's a mighty fine car though, i'd take it over most other cars tbh.

it is bonkers, ive seen on european vw forums that it gets taken to different meets and shows lol so is (or was) used regularly.

the engine is based upon an Audi group B monster. other than the total refabrication of the drivetrain and engine mounting, one really interesting feature is that it has 2 intercoolers in series. not seen that before

my god thats a beast!
look at it raise its nose as he puts the loud pedal down!

Nice, but it has been modified - A Lada with 900bhp would be exciting, it doesn't mean the standard road cars are great though ;)

I have a big video of this with in car footage, some Swedish bloke driving. Indeed uses the Audi grp B engine, the video file name does state "xxx golf 900hp", but whether this means anything who knows...
