PG Tips and Theanine

Why is this a big deal all of a sudden?

I thought theanine has always been found in tea? Yet in every PG Tips advert recently Vegas and Monkey keep banging on about it.

It's almost like a coffee company showing off that their coffee contains this chemical called caffeine, which can increase alertness.

because the adverts are suddenly catching up with the health critical society we live in. If your product is healthy you'll suddenly sell more. Even though nothings changed.

I feel the same on tea as I do on marijuana...

...So I drink it by the pint...And have eight or ten cups a day...

i prefer Ceylon tea to PG-tips, but PG-tips is better than Typhoo or other "cheap" teas.

I drink tea for the anti-oxidants and digestive benefits. I actually dislike the taste of tea somewhat, but in moderation it can be pretty healthy for you.

More to the point, what do I have to do to get a monkey?

My g/f sent me out to get a box of PG with a free monkey, there weren't any, just boxes with pictures of monkies on.

On the plus side Twinnings was on bogof.

I've removed mine now, I presumed they were stitched on so didn't bother. Looks better without.

Bleh! Yorkshire what.. York was good for Vikings.. Vikings dont do tea.. Monkeys live closer to Asia than Vikings and therefore PG Tips is better than Yorkshire tea.. See.. DO YOU SEE?!

My gramps taught me "tea" - he used to give me spoonfuls of PG Tips when I was about 2 and since then I've had tea every single day, several cups!
