PGR3 Breakneck World Tour Timed Run 2

Hi there,

I've been trying to complete PGR3 at Gold Level. All the races I've done so far are completed at Gold (Hard). I have just got to the Breakneck World Tour which I've found pretty difficult to complete. I have completed the first two events at Gold, however the second timed run is pretty much impossible, no matter which car I go for.

The annoying thing is, is that I actually run out of time just a few metres before the finish line.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop this horrible event preventing me from becoming a gold champion? I have tried using the F50, skyline concept and the Fusion GTR. All with the same results - ie running out of time while in sight of the finishing line.

Watch one of the worlds best replays on Live, then you can see what car they did it in, and what time they got, as well as the best lines to use. I'm trying to go through the game on platinum at the moment, got about 50% of the way through it now, pretty happy with myself :p
 
ive been doing it on platnum. About 70% one at the mo. It doesn't really matter what car you use as the times are all relative. So find a car that you feel really comfatable with. I personally use the ultima GTR or the RUF super car concept but hey depends on the person. Just keep at it mate youll get there eventually :)
 
I've just completed the Breakneck world tour. What a nightmare. I have been able to complete many of the events at gold within a few events, however the timed runs and hot laps of this particular championship have been a real pain.

Logically, I assume that the game will get harder as I progress. Is this the case, or are some of the races I have in store a little easier?
