Lo lads. I've completed all the career races at Platinum level, but whenever I try the Cone Challenges I lose the rag very quickly Smile

Any tips on doin them on hardcore?
 
Don't go in with the fastest car, try something like a Radical/Palmer, quick with good handling.
 
i did them with the RUF supercar, bumper cam. just do little slides in between the cones - if your not going to make a gate do a slide instead. if you get to the end in 1 big combo (kudos still on 0) you should pass.

one of them was 40k kudos & i finished with 65k, lol :D
 
You only need the GTR, it swings out under high revs and controls perfectly.
I raced through Platinum in 2 days, found the cones easy with this car.

I use the chase cam (far) for cones, only time in the game to use it!
 
I think I did them all using the Sagaris. My method was to take the course as quickly and cleanly as possible, if you go fast enough you can keep the combo going just driving through the gates. I did small powerslides round any corners to rack up some more kudos, just make it round the course without losing the combo and you should be ok.

This method won't get you huge scores but should be enough to get platinums, it was for me anyway.

This was my method, so easy it's almost cheating.
