Well, as some of you will know.. ive got a VGA cable and im going to get my moneys worth out if it...

First off, i have to use 1024x768 on my 19" TFT native 1280x1024.. because the majority of other resolutions look completely naff...

However, with this, it looks pretty good so i thought i was away.. until coming to play split screen on pgr3...

This is the weird bit... It renders the scenery as if you are constantly moving.. there is constant motion blur on everything bar what your directly pointing at... Changing the res can fix this... but not a suitable solution..

Has anyone experienced this.. its really ruining my experience.

Also, is there a fix on the horizon for the 1280x1024 resolution and PGR3?

Why not just run at 1024x768 and tell the monitor to scale with the correct aspect. I'm running at 1024x768 on my Dell 2001FP and it works fine :)

Have you tried split screen two player with that?

Hi mate, i had the exactly same thing.. you have to lower the res if your going to play multi player, or try putting it into widescreen

He knows, hence why he said he's in 1024x768 on a native 1280x1024 monitor.
If your monitor allows for 1:1 pixel mapping (I believe) then it's okay, mine however, doesn't, so I'm knackered.

high end Dell monitors can though (I believe).

No, but it has been said earlier that 1024x768. I was pointing out that 1024x768 looks fine on a 1600x1200 native screen - you don't have to run at the native res of the monitor for it to look ok :)

CRT is different to TFT, out of native it looks a little naff as it blurs like hell.

I have a 2001FP - thats a 20.1" LCD Panel from Dell. It doesn't look perfect, but its a game, not a page of text. Also with console games, u sit further back :)

Yeh, this is not scaling blur as far as i know, although thinking about it now it might be. Either way, at 1024x768 split screen mode... its just silly.. the blur is everywhere bar the bit directly in front and its just ridiculous.. which is a shame because thats what i use for single player...

Think i'll just stick to the fight night demo for multiplayer now...

Do it like me:
