I'm in the same boat so to speak. I have Sega rally which is tough but fun, do I really need PGR. Plus getting it means either Halo or Rally goes as trade in.
I could just wait but patience is not a strong point.

Yeah my fave challenge in the demo...
Makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck sometimes.
Im currently in 2nd positon regards this challenge (outta 5351) on the leader boards if you fancy trying to beat my time/kudos with 7276 (ibmatix)

I had a quick play earlier. I didn't like the menu system but the game was just PGR3 with nicer graphics, which isn't really a bad thing. I thought the bikes sucked big time though.

Im at 70% now ive been downloading since 6pm and yes im on virgin 4mb or should that be more like 512k with the traffic shapeing thing.
Its downloading about 1% every 5 min so i dont expect it to be done anytime soon maybe it will download before the game is released on friday.

I must say in regards to my comments above that this really feels and plays better than PGR3 does...although its premature given that the demo has only a few vehicles to play with.
Handling feels better, and like in TDU you can feel the car wrestling with you when you go into a corner. Visuals are stunning, especially on Nurbuggering in the snow
Will I get it? I'll wait for some post release reviews, but it is definitely an impressive demo.

Just been having a play on this, very impressed by the demo. Menus are nice, the cars handle well and the soundtrack seems fitting but is anyone else having problems with the bikes handling? I'm using the view closest to the ground with the dials, but I still cant seem to handle them

I've never seen anyone so good with distance weapons on any game and your driving game times are always up there too.

Anyway tried the demo and I'm sad to say it's about as good a demo/game as I've yet seen on the 360. Looks beautiful, so far love the handling. Sounds great. Probably 12-18 months since I played 3. Forgot just how good this is.
Might have to hold off for a bit until I've finished/sold other games.

I miss the CS league days where i was top for a week with most kills, etc. All played at a LAN party. God i love CS but my Orange Broadband connection is awful, loosing packets left right and centre.
Begs the question, just what do you want from a driving game?

didnt like pgr 3.. dnno why, love this though!
its just the same over and over though, the weather is ok i spose, but pgr2 is still the best of them all.

Really can't wait for this, played PGR3 to death (even though I wasn't that good) and enjoyed everyminute of it.

Tempted to buy the wheel now lol, don't really have anything proper to clamp it to unfortunately

ive got both forza's dont realy play them now as i got bored aswell lol.
maybe im just getting bored of game updates. hopefully need for speed pro street will be good,
