PGR4 vs PGR3 vs Forza2

No. However, what I would call superior multiplayer in any genre on any format is fun and Forza2 isn't what most people would call fun. I'd hazard a guess most people simmed a lot of races and got bored of it a LONG time before the end of it.

Isn't it what you would call fun you mean? Different people different needs i guess. Glitching cars, wall riding, car bumping and no tuning is more fun to you then?

It ain't been out the top ten games played on Live since release I don't think, so there is no point saying it is not fun for most people. And you can't sim races online, which is what I thought you were talking about? Forza 2 is certainly fun online if you play with like minded racers, who want a sim experience, depends on what you define as fun though.

I personally prefer PGR4 to Forza by a fair amount. Forza was good but was for lack of a better word, dull. Got bored way before I finished it and ended up trading it in for PGR4. Having good fun with it, although don't particularly like the way the single player career mode is set out this time. It does look amazing though and is just genuinely fun to play.

I don't think the tuning is a big loss, I liked tuning in GT3 as it helped me learn about cars a bit but in Forza it is so in depth, good for car nuts but I think it makes it less accessible to a lot of people. Especially online, if you can't tune well your not going to do well.

Forza isn't a bad game, in fact if people did want an ultimate tuning simulator its perfect but for people just out for plain fun I found it very dull.

One car.

If you like losing.

You can't hit cars in Forza 2?

Or, if it bothers you that much, turn collisions off.

It gives you a more level playing field and makes it more fun for everyone

Stock car racing can be done in forza too by locking it in the game options menu so you have the best of both worlds whereas in PGR you can't (Plus the plethora of other restrictions too). Plus the R classes in forza allow for no upgrades which also gives the medium between the two. You can still use them but the tuning is there if you want it. My reference to bumping in PGR4 didn't mean it doesn't happen in forza. It was meant to show there is a lot more of it happening in PGR. Wall riding glitches are still winning people races in PGR so i don't understand what your saying there. Plus yes it might be one car that is glitched but one is too many. Also for once gamerankings seems to agree with me.

Keep trying :o.

Hi.

In my opinion Forza 2 was the game for me, im a big motorsport fan so it was great to get an amazing simulation. Although PGR4 was easier to pick up and play, have a good time with friends etc. Also the online on Forza 2 is good but unless you know how to tune your car, youll get beaten.

lol, no. If you were going to sim online why would you go online?
It's a great game online, but in SP it's boring after 5-10 hours. Then you have to race the same limited (and boring) tracks time and time again for more and more laps.

what's everyone's opinion of the import/region free PGR4's? Do they play exactly the same? Will they work on xbox live as normal and be able to race with people from the UK?

cheers.

I like sim racers better.

So Foza2 wins it for me.

I am strange tho lol I loved TDU on the pc and hate the pgr games

If they are region free they will be fine, no difference to the one you buy in the UK in terms of how it plays.

Is that just for pgr4, or all imports? Wanna pick up gears of war imported too, but wanna make sure it will work here online and everything.
