Just wanted to check before I kill something, I want to run my motherboard rgb off my case connection so they sync up, do I unplug the case sata power cable to do this?

I'm not sure if this answers your question..
I have an Evolv X, I just have it connected to a SATA power cable from the PSU and control the RGB using the buttons under the flap. I did try connecting the case RGB control cable to an RGB header on my Gigabyte Aorus motherboard. I could then control the case RGB in coordination the motherboard RGB via the Gigabyte 'RGB Fusion' application. This however disables the Evolv X RGB control buttons. However, I found that the case's own RGB control via the buttons was much better than what the Gigabyte application could do, so I disconnected it and reverted to direct control via the buttons.
The Asus aura is very buggy as well I tryed the latest version today and it turned off my motherboard rgb, had to reset the bios to get it back.
