Hi,

Finished a new build using a Phanteks P350X (MSI Tomahawk MAX motherboard).

I was looking at options for LED strips within the case. The case itself has nice rainbow addressable RGB pre-install to the exterior.

From what I have read my motherboard only has 12V RGB connectors and not the 5V (3pin) required for addressable RGB.

I was going to buy the normal Phanteks £14 kit but that just has standard colours.

What is my best option for getting addressable RGB (rainbow wave etc)? Hue+, Corsair etc

Thanks

You should be able to daisy chain off the built in case leds ie join strips to built-in leds
All phanteks cases I have owned could
That way the leds you add are synchronised to the built-in ones
Though have to use phanteks leds or get creative with a craft knife as different manufacturers use slightly different connectors
Phanteks obviously do addressable led strips and their new neon ones though less bright/more subtle can be shaped/bent through right angles etc
