Hey guys,

I need some help regarding my fan setup for my Phantek Pro M case:

This case, so no ones gets it confused with its bigger brother haha.
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/phan...i-tower-case-with-window-black-ca-031-pt.html

At the moment the case has this fan setup:
- 2 140 Front fans (intake)
- 2 140 Top fans (exhaust)
- 1 40 Rear fan (exhaust)

I want to rearrange this setup to either one of the following plans:

A)
- 2 140 Front fans (intake)
- 2 140 top fans (intake)
- 1 140 rear fan (exhaust)

B)
- 2 140 Front fans (intake)
- 2 140 tops fans (exhaust)
- 1 140 rear fan (intake)

Which setup seems more efficient? The one I currently have or one of the plan options.

One other option, I could change all the fans to be set at different speeds? But I'm not sure how to do that other fan buying a fan hub. I have the phantek fan hub but it only allows all fans to be set to the same speed whatever speed the CPU fan is set at.

Hope you guys can help :)

Thanks

Hi m8,

Ideally you want as as many intake as exhaust to keep a nice positive pressure.

I'd personally recommend two front intake and top 2 plus rear exhaust. Hot air tends to rise.

Which you've already installed. Why do you feel the need to change? If you're concerned about temperature, just bare in mind the higher ambient temps throught summer period.

Regards

I will leave it then :).
My main concern was not being able to have positive pressure as I have 2 intake and 3 exhaust all at the same RPM.

To change the individual fan speeds, how would I do it without buying a fan hub?

Yes I have loads of spare hubs.
So I'm guessing, have all of my exhaust connected to my fan hub, and my intake to a MB header? :)
I have some Y-splitters and I only have 2 intake anyway so perfect!

Ive got the same case ive got 3 120mm front intakes and 1 140mm rear exhaust.
when I tried having top exhaust fans I was getting slightly higher temps.

Thanks for all of your input guys :).
I've managed to get control of my intake and exhaust fans so I've increased my intake fans speed by half the amount of the exhaust.

My CPU temp is lower when gaming, about 3-5 degrees lower. I think it might be lower.

I think my case is more positive pressure, which I wanted.
