I bought the above case and well, I wanted to get a 480MM rad for it since it fits however, When I was looking at getting fans for it, Its gonna cost me an extra 100 QUID in fans... for push pull.

Is there anything cheaper than Corsair SP fans?

You could always just go push or pull. I'm building the same case at the minute and have a 480 in the roof with one set of fans. Don't think the 2/3 degree difference is worth the £100 as I have the same fans.

do you really need to go push pull? i've got the same case

I'd go with any of these bundles actually
YOUR BASKET
3 x Three Fan Bundle - Parvum Systems F1.0 Performance Fan - White £28.99 (£86.97)
3 x Three Fan Bundle - Parvum Systems F1.0 Performance Fan - Black £28.99 (£86.97)
3 x Three Fan Bundle - Silverstone SST-FQ121 FQ Series 1225 PWM - Watercooling Optimised Fan £19.99 (£59.97)
Total : £248.93 (includes shipping : £12.50).

you'll even have a spare fan at the end than you can sell

That was my thinking :D just waiting on a QDC and a power cable and I'll have all my bits and finally be able to put it together.

Are Pervum fans really good for static pressure/rads?

If so I really really like the looks of those white ones to match my white coolant...

by the looks of it, that's what they were designed for. I haven't tested them myself

A while back ocuk were selling akasa piranhas at £4.99 each, (normally £14.00). Great for rads due to high static pressure. Bonus of being PWM too so would work well with the primos fan hub.

I thin, I will remove my Corsair fans from my 360 rad thats in my old case and put them onto my new 480 MM. Then use those new parvums on my smaller rads. So long as the large rad has some decent fans on it am happy.

Cheers fokes.

the eloops are awesome fans but very pricey. I'm probably going for the parvum or new special silverstone ones when they're out

I've used the alpenfohn wingboosts, which the parvums basically are. Found them decent on a heat sink in push/pull, (alpenfohn k2). Very high quality fans and not too loud.

Will bring pics and such when its all done in my new case. Will let ya know how good they are. Think am picking up 3 packs of 3, Loads of fans :D

480mm, 360mm, 240mm duel thickness rads to mess with. The fun will never end D:

Just make sure you bend your knees when you lift it :D these things weigh a ton without being full of water gear !! And yeah defo get pics up when it's done.

Is it really that bad?

Compared to my little NZXT
