I'm having a nightmare with it so far.

Sata cable conected.

4 pin from hub conected to cpu header on motherboard(Asus maximus x formula)

Cpu cooler fan (3 pin) conected to the white header fan hub.

4 (4pin) case fan's conected to the black fan headers on fan hub.
No mater what I do all the fans run @ 100%,Asus fan xpert can't control them indeviduly all going full pelt.

Sounds similar to my problem, when i boot into windows the fans are controlled fine but wait 5 minutes and they go full pelt.

Do they not all get their own separate curves or one setting fits all in a hub?

I was hoping for that but I just can't get it to work I've spent hours on this problem and I can't figure it out so I'll need to buy some fan speed reducers.

Not the best piece of photography ever but a few early build shots. Had to switch pumps and borrow my ddc from my server as the d5 would not fit anywhere!

That seems like a solution you shouldn’t have to resort to. Surely for the price of this it should work.

What mobo/fans you using?

Would a nemesis 420gts fit in the front of this?. It's 153mm wide

My plan is to take the phanteks fan hub out and use a Corsair commander Pro.

Same here, especially that crosshair 6 has only one internal usb 2.0 and I need more. Besides onboard fan control is not great and you can't control fans based on the water temp.

That a very nice build cliffy I would love to go hardline looks very difficult to do,I've gone for soft hose as I'm lazy

Got a email from a tech guy at phantek asking me to show how the fan hub is wired up so props to them support so far has been exellent.

Had to order a flexible internal USB 3.0 extension cable as the stock one interferes with the cable tidy tray to much,apart from that I'm very happy with this case so far,being able to stealth your cables is excellent.

So do you have 2 cables going from the fan hub to motherboard fan headers? Looking at the manual i was going to connect the far right/white 4 pin connector to my motherboard CPU fan header (4 pin to 4 pin) then just connect sata power and my fans to the corresponding 3 or 4 pin?

From what I could work out from the manual there is a 4 pin cable on the fan hub,that goes to cpu motherboard header,then the cpu cable goes to the white header on the fan hub,then fans to black headers.
Also the sata cable from the fan hub is conected to the psu.

I'd say just try White header to a 4 pin mobo header. Two connections between mobo and fan controller will be sending two conflicting signals between the two

I think what he is saying there is only one connection, Hub to Mobo CPU header.

Everything else is fan directly to hub including CPU

I had the same desire, seems not to be possible without modding - it states max clearance of 148mm in the front.
