Hi,

I received my new build yesterday from OC and noticed when I press the rgb buttons on the front of the case they don’t work. I can change colour through RGB Fusion 2.0 but I would like to be able to change the mode and colours from the case. Do I just need to unplug it from the motherboard? If so what am I looking for as I know very little regarding the cables etc..

thanks

you will have far less options with the case bitton. yes you will have to discomnect from motherboard you may then have. to re attach to the case fronr panel probably along with a sata cable. i wouldn't bother uts6a backwards atep

I have a phanteks case, it's the matx evolv, as I built it myself I have a set of led Strips connected to the motherboard and also a pair of phanteks led Strips connected too the case. They only cost I think £7.50 for the phanteks led Strips and very simply just plug into a lead running from the case. I really like it because then you can have contrasting /complementing colours running together. Yeah the motherboard ones are controlled by the motherboard software. As you sound like this is very unfamiliar territory I would either contact Overclockers shop for help on how to do it /look up the phanteks manual and or get help on here to do it. I personally would recommend it as I agree nice to have the option to press the case button however you might want to lay off from doing it as, as I say, unfamiliar territory for you.

If you literally want to just have rgb from just the case I think you'll be able to plug it direct into the case connector, I usually get the recommended ones which as I said is the phanteks led kit . Do you have the adaptor for them? As its not the same as the motherboard connection on the case lead.
