Phanteks mini ITX build

Hi just guys wanted to ask what size of cpu coolers would I be able to squeeze into this case? Tempted by an all air build later in the year. Looks like it can handle the big boys

So yeah, as you can see it takes what I think is all the air coolers or at least all the ones listed here at OcUK.

What you may find is due to the smaller form factor motherboard if you go to large it could get close to a GFX card or RAM (if they have tall heatspreaders).

Yeh I need to be careful. I might go all in and do a loop but it's small and I fancied an easy straight forward build. Are we likely to see some ITX boards coming for 2011 socket?

There already is a X99 itx board from ASrock.

But that means buying an ASrock board which I shiver at the thought of doing, also JJ from ASUS gave a sly wink at the possibility of a ASUS X99 itx board in a video I watched.

Surely with mITX you lose one of the big advantages of X99 though? (Quad-channel RAM)

Yeh I don't really want to venture into that unless another brand produced one. So might stick with 1150 possibly.
