Hello. I completed my first build about 2 weeks ago and thankfully didn't run into many problems but there is one.
I've paired the P400A Digital case along with the B450 Tomahawk Max. Unfortunately I didn't research enough beforehand and wasn't aware that the ARGB fans aren't compatible with this particular motherboard as they're 5v 3 pin while the motherboard headers are 12 v 4 pin.
I've looked it up a bit and read that it can work if you plug in the SATA cable coming from the case to the PSU. I went ahead and did it but only the power button lights up, not the fans or the bottom of the case.
Is it possible I've got a dead led strip or am I doing something wrong? I looked up the deepcool converter that lets you plug the 5 v into the 12v headers but apparently it's not compatible with the P400A fans. The colour buttons on the top of the case work or atleast the one that lets me change the power button colours but that's about it.
I'm so lost, got any ideas guys?
