Phanteks PH-TC14PE Installation Problem

I'm going back to air cooling for a short while and was trying to install this heatsink earlier on my 4790k and ran into a problem.

The two screw holes on the mounting plate that the cooler screws into are slightly too far apart to fit onto strip adapters.

I can screw one in and then the other wont screw in.

Anyone had this problem before?.

Can you loosen all 4 screws then try to put the mounting plate on ?

Are there multiple holes somewhere on the mounting hardware (back plate?) If so, you probably chose the wrong ones.

I could loosen the screws but it wont help, it doesn't let them move, and i've put the screws through the 1150 hole like they should be... i've got a manual here.

loosen the motherboard mounts. fix the cooler support on.

Just tried same way again and it worked
