Phantom 410 Fan HELP!

Hi all,

Sorry if this has already been asked, but did a search and didn't find an answer.

I'm ordering up my gun metal phantom 410 this week but I have hit a little road block with my overall colour scheme.

Can I replace the stock 140mm fan situated in one of the top slots and replace it with non NZXT fans or do they have to be branded to fit??

I want to put 2 x 140mm in the top (both exhaust), with a 120mm at the back (also exhaust), and two 120mm in the front (intake) for overall airflow. PSU will be fan down to exhaust out the back.

Also does anyone know where I can buy the new NZXT FZ-LED fans in the UK or Europe??

If they're 140mm mounting holes, so long as NZXT haven't done something freaky you can put absolutely any 140mm fans in their you want.

Akasa Apache Blacks would probably suit the Gunmetal theme quite well, and they have a relatively good performance/noise ratio.

Even if we did know where you could get those fans though, unfortunately we wouldn't be able to tell you as chances are the company would compete with one of OcUK's core businesses - fans.

If you want to see if OcUK will get them in stock, or if you want to guarantee that NZXT haven't done anything crazy with their fans, ask in the customer services Pre-Sales area about the case, and the fan question in new product suggestions I'd probably say.

Thanks for the reply. As far as mounting holes goes I'm not sure, I did read somewhere that in the full tower the only fans that fit in the top are nzxt 200mm and other 200mm don't fit, so hence I am still not sure about the 410.

I really want to do an orange theme inside as I think it will be a nice contrast with the gunmetal (Porsche did a special edition in orange/gunmetal which looked great).

I did check on the nzxt website but didn't see OcUK listed as a retailer or distrubutor hence why I asked.
